Merry Monday | 12.6.21

This year it was hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit for some reason. This year has been a lot. 2020 was more than a lot. Dealing with life has had it’s challenges, but there has also been a lot of growth and progress. Discovering a new path in life can seem scary at first, but it can be freeing and empowering.

Took the decorations out so I could get in the mood, but it took a while to get motivated to put everything up. So, the day after Thanksgiving, everything went up!

Now that the decorations are up, this year seems very different than holidays past. New friendships and relationships have developed, there is a new sense of self awareness and peace to strive towards, and being kind to myself have all been goals the past year and a half.

I think this Merry Monday will be a new beginning of new traditions, new beginnings, and new memories.

2020 was a lot, and 2021 was just the beginning of recovery. So look out for a new start in the year ahead. Merry Monday!
