Merry Monday | 12.9.24

I have noticed that a lot of people are talking about the right time to tell your kids about Santa, when to put the gifts under the tree, and how to keep the Christmas spirit alive as kids get older. One thing I remember is I never really believed in Santa, but I appreciated the joy of Christmas. My mom would wait until I was asleep to put gifts under the tree the night before. I think the joy of Christmas is in the traditions and the time spent with family.

One thing I love about the holidays is the decor. The lights! Lights are magical and mesmerizing. I especially love twinkle lights because they create a warm glow. A few years ago, I moved into my own place and decided to go a little crazy with the lights, and wrap my entire dining room in twinkle lights. It took me a couple hours and my arms were killing me, but I love it! I definitely did not take them down, so every now and then I like to turn them on just for a cozy vibe.

This holiday season is in full swing. All of my decorations are up at home and at work. I still have some gifts to get, but I am truly thankful and blessed with all I have right now. I hope this season is merry and bright for everyone!
